Dr. Ramakrishna Guda is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Western Michigan University (WMU). He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Mumbai (2005) and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan (2005–2008). His research focuses on nanomaterials and ultrafast laser spectroscopy, with a particular emphasis on plasmonic gold clusters, nanocomposite synthesis, and optoelectronic materials. He teaches courses in general chemistry and physical chemistry.
Research interests include the design of novel nanomaterials for electromagnetic interference shielding, photoluminescent gold nanoclusters, and computational modeling of optical properties using discrete dipole approximation.
