Ramachandra Sivakumar

Ramachandra Sivakumar is a Part-Time Lecturer in the School of City & Regional Planning at Georgia Institute of Technology's College of Design. He serves as Co-Director of the MS-GIST Program and Senior Research Engineer at the Center for Urban Resilience and Analytics (CURA). With over 20 years of experience in GIS and IT, his expertise spans web-based GIS application development, network administration, and database management.

His professional roles include system administration for CURA projects, leading enterprise GIS implementations for organizations like the Annie E. Casey Foundation and MEAG Power, and managing Georgia's GIS Data Clearinghouse. He administers ESRI and ERDAS software systems for Georgia Tech and the University System of Georgia.

Siva contributes to research supported by NSF, National Center for Earthquake Engineering Research, and others. He holds leadership roles in professional organizations including the Georgia Urban and Regional Information Systems Association and GIS Certification Institute.
