Ralph M Larmann

Ralph M. Larmann is a Professor of Art at the University of Evansville, teaching painting and general art courses. He received his BFA from the University of Cincinnati and MFA from James Madison University. Previously, he taught at Loyola University Chicago, Herron School of Art/IUPUI, University of Cincinnati, and Southern Arkansas University.

Larmann's professional contributions include serving as former President of the college art organization F.A.T.E. (Foundations in Art: Theory and Education) and co-authoring the art textbook 'Gateways to Art'. He maintains the Art Studio Chalkboard and Figure Drawing Lab online art tutorials and has exhibited artwork across the United States and United Kingdom.

His creative practice focuses on painting techniques and digital art pedagogy. Professional achievements include developing educational resources for art foundations and contributing to art curriculum design nationally.
