Ralph Edwin Brubaker

Ralph Edwin Brubaker is the James H.M. Sprayregen Professor of Law at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's College of Law. He holds a B.S., M.B.A., and J.D. from the same institution. His research focuses on bankruptcy law, class action lawsuits, commercial law, contracts, federal courts, and state-federal regulatory frameworks.

Brubaker has authored influential works such as *Bankruptcy Law: Principles, Policies, and Practice* (2021) and contributed to discussions on debtors' prisons and utilitarian theories of bankruptcy.
