Ralph Adamo

Ralph Adamo is a Full Professor of English at Xavier University of Louisiana, where he has taught since 2007. An accomplished poet with eight published collections including 'Waterblind' (2002) and recent works in 2014/2020, he received the National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Fellowship (2003). As editor of Xavier Review and Xavier Review Press, he curated Everette Maddox's selected poems.

Interdisciplinary Experience: Beyond academia, Adamo has worked as:

• Journalist for six years
• Network television writer
• Spoken word vocalist

He has taught at multiple institutions including Tulane, Loyola, and UNO where he advised the Driftwood newspaper.

Office hours: Mondays 1-3 PM, Tuesdays/Thursdays 4-5 PM.
