Ralf Wimmer

Ralf Wimmer is a Research Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine in the Department of Neuroscience. His work focuses on computational and neurophysiological mechanisms underlying cognitive functions and disorders.

Wimmer’s research investigates thalamocortical circuits in schizophrenia, attentional control, sleep spindles, and computational models of neural networks. His studies integrate electrophysiology, optogenetics, and behavioral analysis in animal models.
