Ralf Schlauderer

Prof. Ralf Schlauderer is a Professor at the Department of Agriculture, Food, and Nutrition at Weiden University of Applied Sciences (HSWT). He holds multiple honorary doctorates (h.c. mult.) and serves as Head of HSWT International School, International Representative of the Agriculture department, and Chair of the examining committee for the International Master in Agricultural Management programme. His roles also include Deputy chair for the Regional Management Master's committee and leadership in collaborative international projects.

His teaching focuses on Applied Agricultural Management in B.Sc. Agriculture and International Master programs, covering production economics, business planning, and interdisciplinary projects. Research emphasizes international agricultural development, particularly in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa, with projects addressing sustainable farming practices, economic viability analysis, and institutional capacity-building.

Ralf leads MASSTER and climate change initiatives targeting educational systems and food security. He is affiliated with KTBL, ATSAF, and GeWiSoLa organizations. His work includes over 20 supervised theses analyzing agricultural challenges in countries like Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia, focusing on profitability, resource efficiency, and socio-economic impacts of agricultural practices.

He coordinates export strategies for HSWT's International Master program, serves as a DAAD evaluator, and chairs accreditation review panels (AQUIN, ASIIN, FIBAA). His research integrates practical internships with academic curricula to enhance student employability in global agricultural sectors.
