Ralf Bachmayer

Prof. Dr. Ralf Bachmayer is a full-time Professor at the University of Bremen's MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences, holding the Werner Siemens Endowed Professorship for 'Marine Environmental Technology / Deep-Sea Engineering' since 2017. His research focuses on marine robotics, with a specialization in autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), underwater gliders, and networked observation systems for persistent deep-sea monitoring.
