Rakesh Kumar Sahoo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Computation-based Science & Technology Research Center (CaSToRC) of The Cyprus Institute. His research focuses on computational materials design for energy storage applications, including hydrogen storage, CO₂ capture, and catalysis. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, where he received the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award for work on hydrogen storage. Prior to his current position, he held postdoctoral roles at the Technion and HRI India, and lectured in Physics at Government Autonomous College, Angul.
