Rainer Dick

Rainer Dick is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at the University of Saskatchewan. He holds a Diplom-Physiker from Universität Stuttgart (Germany), a Dr.rer.nat. (Ph.D.) from Universität Hamburg (Germany), and a Dr.rer.nat.habil. (Habilitation) from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany). His research focuses on Particle Astrophysics, Gravitation and Cosmology, Quantum Theory, and Condensed Matter Physics.

He has supervised numerous graduate and undergraduate students, including notable advisees such as Karla Hopp, Kai Wunderle, Daryl Janzen, and Adam Zulkoskey. His work spans theoretical and experimental aspects of dark matter, quantum mechanics foundations, and particle physics phenomena. Recent publications explore topics like antisymmetric tensor portals to dark matter, relativistic probability densities, and quantum jumps in Schrödinger’s framework.

Rainer Dick is actively involved in academic governance, serving on university committees and departmental panels at the University of Saskatchewan.
