Raimonds Strods

Raimonds Strods is an Implementation Content Support Expert at Riga Stradins University, where he leads the School of Junior Academics. He focuses on strengthening pedagogical competence among academic staff, modernizing curricula, and advancing digitalization in higher education.

• Education: Master’s in Educational Sciences (University of Latvia, 2013-2015); PhD candidate in Educational Sciences (University of Latvia, since 2015).
• Research Interests: Digitalisation of higher education, student-centered learning, teaching strategies, simulation-based medical training, and pandemic-era educational resilience.
• Projects: Led initiatives like DITEPRACT (digital practical skills in healthcare) and SkillTrack (skills tracking systems), funded by the European Commission and Latvian Council of Science.
• Networks: Collaborated with institutions in Finland, Latvia, and the U.S., including a visit to MIT.
