Dr. Raglan Maddox leads research on Indigenous health systems at the National Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing Research. His program develops community-driven health information systems focused on tobacco control, longitudinal cohort studies, and social determinants of health. With a PhD and MPH, his work addresses mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing through culturally responsive frameworks.
Current projects include evaluating tobacco control programs, developing Indigenous determinants of health indices, and creating implementation frameworks for community health initiatives. His research employs mixed methods to understand systemic factors affecting Indigenous health outcomes.
