Raghav Rao

Raghav Rao is a Lecturer at the University of Chicago, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Loyola University Chicago, and serves as Fiction Editor for Another Chicago Magazine. He graduated from The College of the University of Chicago in 2013.

Rao's creative and academic work centers on Creative Writing, Fiction, Literature, and Publishing, with emphasis on migration narratives, crime fiction, and themes of redemption. His debut novel explores cultural reinvention through atmospheric storytelling.

Rao actively mentors writers through virtual co-writing sessions (Mondays 5:30 p.m. CDT, Thursdays 10 a.m. CDT) and his newsletter The Last Stop on the Late Train, which analyzes media saturation while fostering community engagement.
