Raeed Ali Mohammed is a PhD Researcher at Delft University of Technology's Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, within the Transport & Planning department. His research focuses on modeling shipment size, vehicle type selection, distribution channels, and transport service choices using discrete choice methods and simulation, aimed at improving urban freight transport systems. Prior to his PhD, he served as a lecturer in Transport Engineering at Addis Ababa University's Institute of Technology and chaired the Road and Transport Engineering unit. He holds degrees from Haramaya University and the University of California, Irvine.
His work integrates advanced analytical techniques to address logistical challenges in urban freight systems. Raeed is affiliated with TU Delft’s Transport & Planning department and contributes to advancing transportation modeling methodologies.
