Raed Al-Tabini

Raed Al-Tabini, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Academic Director at SIT Graduate Institute, overseeing programs in Jordan since 2007. His multifaceted role includes designing academic and field-based components, administering programs, and guiding research ethics. He holds a PhD in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

His research interests focus on sustainable development, water policy, and environmental management, with a specialization in pastoral community livelihoods and scarce resource governance. Al-Tabini has extensive experience managing development projects in the Middle East and North Africa, previously serving as General Director of the Hashemite Fund for Development of Jordanian Badia.
