Radoslav Kamburov

Radoslav Kamburov is a Chief Assistant Professor at the Department of Pre-Production and Production under the Faculty of Screen Arts at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts and Film Studies 'Krustyo Sarafov'. Born in Plovdiv in 1989, he holds a PhD in Film Studies, complemented by a bachelor's and master's in Film and Television Directing and Art. His teaching focuses on Film and Television Directing and Film Studies.

He is a member of Mensa International and the Center for Semiotic and Cultural Studies (CSSC). His work as a director has earned awards at international film festivals. Beyond academia, he contributes to institutional initiatives like the NATPHIZ Theatre and the Puppet Theatre programs at his alma mater.

Radoslav has been actively involved in academic and cultural projects, including educational audio-visual programs and the academy’s social responsibility initiatives. His research and creative output bridge film art, cultural analysis, and pedagogical innovation in screen arts.
