Radha Persaud

Radha Persaud is a Professor in the School of Public Policy & Administration at York University, affiliated with the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. He holds a Ph.D. from Queen’s University and degrees from the University of Toronto. His research focuses on Comparative Constitutional Law, Parliamentary Government, Federalism, and Public Policy, with a particular emphasis on judicial advice mechanisms in constitutional governance.

His current work includes a manuscript exploring the role of the Supreme Court of Canada in intergovernmental conflict resolution (1979–2000). Dr. Persaud has been recognized with prestigious teaching awards from both York University and Glendon College. His scholarly contributions span conference presentations and publications in public law and constitutional government.

He maintains active engagement in policy analysis and has contributed expertise to governmental and international dialogues on federal systems and constitutional design.
