Radha Mahapatra is a Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), serving as Chair of the department. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (1983), an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (1986), and a PhD in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University (1994). His research focuses on reducing health disparities through mobile technologies, healthcare information systems, and ICT for development. He has led projects such as 'Reducing Health Disparities Among Minority Patients Using Mobile Technologies' and explored topics like agile methodologies and data quality.
