About
Radek Stech is Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Exeter Law School (equivalent to Associate Professor) and founder/CEO of the Sustainable Finance, the Law and Stakeholders (SFLS) Network. He also serves as CEO of the Global Principles for Sustainable Securities Lending and as an upcoming member of the ESRC Peer Review College, while collaborating closely with Exeter Business School.

Research Interests
Radek’s research integrates sustainable finance, environmental and banking law, and policy design. He examines how legal and regulatory frameworks can embed ESG principles into securities lending, banking practices, and investment governance. His cross-cutting work spans comparative environmental law, international commercial regulation, and the socio-legal dynamics of climate finance.
Grants & Collaborations
He currently leads a £500k ESRC-funded global project (2018-22) with the World Bank and Global Alliance for Banking on Values, investigating responsible finance innovation. Past consultancies include the US Chamber of Commerce, WWF UK, Welsh Government, and leading international law firms.

Labs, Networks & Teams
