Rachele Scuro is a Research Fellow at the Department of Humanities, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, specializing in medieval and early modern economic/social history with a focus on Venice, Jewish communities, and hydraulic systems.

She teaches History of Venice at the School for International Education and contributes to the ERC-funded Water-Cultures project (2018-2025), examining environmental, institutional, and economic interactions in the Venetian Mainland State.
