Rachel Roe-Dale

Rachel Roe-Dale is Professor of Mathematics and Director of First-Year Experience at Skidmore College. She joined the Mathematics and Statistics department in 2005 and previously served as department chair. Her work focuses on enhancing academic experiences for first-year students.

Education:

• B.A. in Chemistry, Maryville College

Research Interests: Mathematical modeling of biological and medical systems, physical system simulations, and interdisciplinary connections between mathematics and visual arts. Her cancer chemotherapy models represent significant contributions to quantitative medical research.
