Rachel Ranson

Rachel Ranson is a Senior Lecturer in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Department at Northumbria University. She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences (Neuroscience) from the University of Birmingham, following BSc and MSc degrees in Human Biology and Biological Electron Microscopy. Her research focuses on mechanisms underlying age-related incontinence, with studies on spinal cord aging and CNS/peripheral neuron dynamics. She teaches molecular neuroscience and physiology/pathophysiology across biomedical modules.
