Rachel Pollack serves as Adjunct Professor of Writing at George Washington University's Columbian College of Arts and Sciences and University Writing Program, with additional teaching appointments in the Corcoran School of Arts and Design and University Honors Program. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Maryland, specializing in Northern Baroque art and Greco-Roman sculpture.
Her interdisciplinary research spans art history, archaeology, classics, and material culture. She has curated exhibitions at The Textile Museum including 'Embroidering The Crown' (2023) and 'Garden of Love' (2024), with forthcoming publications in The Textile Museum Journal.
As a practicing watercolor artist, she participates in international art residencies and exhibits annually in Italy. Her teaching encourages students to engage creatively with visual culture across disciplinary boundaries.
