Dr. Rachel Pittman is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Clinical and Applied Sciences Education at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. She joined the faculty in November 2019 after seven years as a community pharmacist and pharmacy owner. Her educational background includes a Pharm.D. from UIW Feik School of Pharmacy and an M.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology from University of Texas at Dallas.
Her research integrates pharmacy practice with osteopathic medical education, focusing on pharmacological applications in clinical settings. Prior to her current role, she taught anatomy and physiology at St. Philip's College in San Antonio.
