Rachel P. Harper holds the rank of Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of English at the University of Missouri and serves as Associate Dean of the Honors College and Missouri Scholars Academy. She coordinates the Honors Humanities Series and previously directed the MU Writing Center for a decade. Her academic background includes a PhD in American Literature (2004) and a BA in English/Spanish (1994), both from the University of Missouri and Illinois Wesleyan University respectively.
