Rachel Hore

Rachel Hore is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of East Anglia's School of Literature, Drama and Creative Writing. She holds an MA in Modern History from Oxford University and brings extensive industry experience from her former role as Senior Editorial Director for Fiction at HarperCollins. Her academic work focuses on teaching Publishing and Creative Writing while managing the annual MA Creative Writing anthologies.

Her research explores historical narratives through fiction, specializing in Creative Writing techniques, Publishing industry practices, and the evolution of Historical Fiction. Her novels demonstrate consistent engagement with themes of memory, trauma, and hidden histories, particularly centered around World War II impacts.
