Rachel Fenning, Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychological Science and Director of The Claremont Autism Center. As a licensed clinical psychologist, she specializes in assessment and intervention for neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism. Her research focuses on child and family contributions to social-emotional development, biobehavioral regulation, and clinical outcomes in children with autism and related intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD). She also develops interventions to improve physical health and well-being in underserved autistic populations.

Her work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Dr. Fenning’s research emphasizes promoting adaptive behavior and resilience through family-centered interventions.
