Rachel Feldman

Rachel Feldman is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Southern Utah University in the Division of Education and Leadership, part of the School of Arts & Sciences. She is also a senior researcher at American Institutes for Research (AIR), focusing on educational policy enactment and organizational responses across school districts, foundations, and research organizations.

• Education: Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Her research integrates organizational theory, qualitative methods, and economic evaluation to analyze how educational policies are implemented and how organizational structures shape policy uptake, with a critical lens on racial equity in resource allocation. She has prior experience teaching middle and high school mathematics in Boston and Denver.
