Rachel Dlugatch

Rachel Dlugatch is a Research Fellow at the Usher Institute within the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary intersections of health, ethics, and social theory.

• Critical theories and methodologies
• Dynamic social negotiation of safe spaces
• Bioethics of AI in perinatal care

She currently leads qualitative research on the UNBIASED project investigating diabetes technology access inequalities.

Rachel is affiliated with the Edinburgh Qualitative Health Research Group (EQual) and Centre for Population Health Sciences.
