Rachel B. Griffis

Dr. Rachel B. Griffis is an Associate Professor of English at Spring Arbor University, joining in 2023 after 20 years in California, Texas, and Kansas. She teaches literature and writing courses, with scholarly interests in Cormac McCarthy’s works, religion and literature, and Christian pedagogy. Her research has been published in journals like Christianity and Literature and Christian Scholar's Review, and she serves as Reviews Editor at the International Journal of Christianity and Education. An upcoming book with Baker Academic focuses on reading practices.
