Dr. Rachael Kent is Senior Lecturer in Digital Economy & Society at King's College London, researching technology's impact on mental and physical health. She founded the tech-wellbeing consultancy Dr. Digital Health and hosts the 'Digital Health Diagnosed' podcast.
Her work examines digital behaviors during COVID-19, technology addiction, self-tracking cultures, and the ethical implications of surveillance capitalism. She is currently leading a landmark £1.5bn collective action lawsuit against Apple alleging anti-competitive practices.
Publications include 'The Digital Health Self' (Bristol University Press, 2023), exploring how technology mediates health identity and wellness practices.
