RASİME UYGUROĞLU

Assoc. Prof. Dr. RASİME UYGUROĞLU holds the position of Chair in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Engineering. Her academic journey includes a PhD (2002), MS (1986-1991), and BS (1986) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from EMU.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on advanced antenna technologies, including multi-beam near-field focusing, biomedical applications of antennas (e.g., cancer detection and glucose monitoring), fractal antenna design, RFID systems, and 5G network antenna solutions. She also explores metamaterials for antenna miniaturization and signal integrity in microstrip systems.

Academic Contributions: Prof. Uyguroğlu has supervised numerous PhD and Master’s theses, covering topics like healthcare monitoring antennas, phased array designs, and multi-band antenna optimization. Her research bridges theoretical analysis with practical applications in telecommunications and medical engineering.
