RAHİME DERE

Rahide Dere is an Assistant Professor at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics Education. She holds a PhD (2016) and MA (2011) in Mathematics from Akdeniz University, alongside a BSc in Mathematics (2009). Her research focuses on special polynomials (e.g., q-Bernoulli, q-Euler, Genocchi), umbral algebra, and mathematics education with an emphasis on integrating Web 2.0 tools into pedagogy. She has published extensively in journals like Filomat (SCI-Expanded) and AIP Conference Proceedings, exploring topics such as recurrence relations and polynomial identities. Dere has led a design-based study funded by the Higher Education Institutions to enhance prospective mathematics teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge using Web 2.0 platforms. Her work bridges pure mathematical research with applied educational technology. She serves as a referee for journals including the Journal of American Institute of Physics and Advances in Difference Equations.
