R. Christopher Mason

R. Christopher Mason is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Public & Allied Health Sciences at Delaware State University (DSU). His work focuses on neuromuscular control, functional movement analysis across populations, and aging-related changes in motor function.

Education: PhD in Kinesiology (University of Georgia, 2015), MA in Human Motor Behavior (University of Georgia, 2006), BS in Biology (Florida A&M University, 2002).

Research emphasizes biomechanical adaptations in aging populations, sports performance optimization, and public health strategies for pandemic mitigation. Notable collaborations include studies on postural stability in vision-impaired individuals and institutional response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Active member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
