Dr. Quetina Howell is an Assistant Professor in the Tanner Health School of Nursing at the University of West Georgia. A Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), she teaches across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs with expertise in health assessment, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing informatics.
Her instructional portfolio includes courses in holistic health assessment, professional nursing concepts, clinical specialty practice, and leadership/management practicum. Howell developed curriculum for RN-BSN courses in nursing informatics and healthcare policy analysis.
She coordinates clinical practice experiences and mentors DNP students through dissertation research. Her scholarship focuses on evidence-based nursing education strategies and healthcare outcomes improvement.
