Quek Gim Pew

Quek Gim Pew is a distinguished leader in engineering and technology with affiliations across Singapore's academic and governmental sectors. Currently an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, he chairs the National Supercomputing Centre Steering Committee, co-chairs the National Quantum Strategy Steering Committee, and holds leadership roles at the Office for Space Technology and Industry (OSTIn) and multiple institutions including Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), and NUS High School.

As a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore, his work spans defense technology, quantum computing, supercomputing, and nuclear research. He has served in pivotal roles such as Chief Executive Officer of DSO National Laboratories (2004–2016), Chief Defence Scientist of MINDEF (2016–2021), and Senior R&D Consultant to MINDEF (2021–2025).
