- PhD in Physics, Oakland University (1991)
Specializing in neuroimaging and MRI technique innovation, Dr. Jiang investigates brain functional/structural reorganization in stroke, traumatic brain injury, diabetes complications, and glymphatic system alterations. His work employs DTI, fMRI, DCE, and DSC MRI methodologies across human, rat, and mouse models to quantify tissue damage and recovery mechanisms.
Dr. Jiang currently leads three NIH R01 grants as Principal Investigator (NS108463, AG057494, NS097747) and contributes as Co-Investigator to three additional R01 projects (NS109477, NS111801, NS102744), building on 17 previously completed grants since 1999.
