Qixin Zhou

Dr. Qixin Zhou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical, Biomolecular, and Corrosion Engineering at the University of Akron's College of Engineering and Polymer Science. She specializes in coating development and corrosion protection, with a focus on advanced materials for pipeline integrity and sustainable polymer systems.

Recent work explores perovskite solar cell surface engineering and NIR-reflective pigment applications.

Dr. Zhou contributes to coating formulation for industrial applications, with expertise in electrochemical techniques, self-healing materials, and fluid-flow accelerated degradation analysis. She serves on the International Research Committee of NACE and SSPC.
