Qiwei He

Dr. Qiwei He is a Provost's Distinguished Associate Professor in Data Science and Analytics at Georgetown University, where she directs the AIMD (AI-Measurement and Data Science) Lab. She holds affiliations with the Massive Data Institute and Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Research Focus:

• Mining process data from digital assessments
• Developing machine learning methods for educational measurement
• Adaptive testing and innovative item design
• Cross-cultural validation of assessment instruments

Her methodological innovations analyze complex data streams from international assessments (PISA, PIAAC) to understand problem-solving behaviors. Current NSF/IES-funded projects examine sequential patterns in collaborative problem solving and digital literacy assessments.
