Dr. Qinru Qiu is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California (2001) and a BS from Zhejiang University (1994). Her research focuses on neuromorphic computing, energy-efficient systems, and machine learning applications, emphasizing power and thermal management in embedded and high-performance computing systems. She leads NSF's Center for Alternative Sustainable and Intelligent Computing (ASIC) and serves on editorial boards of IEEE journals and conference committees.
