Qing Liu

Qing Liu is a Lecturer in Leadership and Management at Aston Business School, Aston University, since 2023. She holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Edinburgh (2018) and a PhD from Durham University. Her research focuses on leadership, followership, creativity, proactivity, and organizational psychology. She previously worked in consulting and a Fortune Global 100 company in China. Teaching includes courses on HRM, leadership theories, and organizational behavior.

Research interests span proactive behavior, ambidextrous leadership, and employee overqualification dynamics. Key contributions include studies on dual-path models linking proactivity and turnover intentions, and how leadership styles influence innovation.
