Dr. Qianwei Zhao is an Assistant Professor at the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, Baylor University, since July 2020. She holds a PhD from the University of Southern California, an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Law from Shandong University of Finance and Economics. Her research focuses on criminal justice, health disparities, and child/family well-being, with an emphasis on justice-involved women and their children. She has received prestigious awards such as the NASW HEALS Fellowship and APISWEA Doctoral Fellowship.
