Qiang Sun

Dr. Qiang Sun is a Research Fellow at RMIT University's School of Science, specializing in computational physics and engineering. He holds a PhD from University College London and has expertise developed at the National University of Singapore. His research focuses on theoretical and numerical modeling in optical physics, acoustics, fluid mechanics, and colloidal electrostatic interactions. He pioneered accessible non-singular boundary element methods (NSBEM) for solving linear PDEs, applied to nano-rheology, photocatalysts for water treatment, and heat transfer in nanofluids. He also explores deep learning applications in ocean wave prediction and archaeological geospatial analysis.
