Qian Wei

Qian Wei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Wilfrid Laurier University, Faculty of Arts. Their research focuses on political sociology, civil society, nonprofit organizations, democracy, and (de)globalization. Dr. Wei's work explores the intersection of governance, philanthropy, and authoritarian systems in China, as well as gender dynamics in academic collaboration and resource mobilization.
