Punwath Prum is a Research Fellow in the Department of Geology and Environmental Science at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on environmental science, geology, and remote sensing, with particular attention to climate change, sediment dynamics, and sustainable development. He holds the 2024 Andrew Mellon Predoctural Fellowship. His work spans interdisciplinary topics such as estuarine warming, sediment concentration trends, and the long-term impacts of infrastructure programs in Southeast Asia.
