Pui Ling Fung

Dr Pui Ling Fung is a Research Associate at the Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University. Her work focuses on evidence-based design and evaluation of psychosocial interventions for individuals with early to mid-stage dementia.

Her research addresses the lack of robust evidence in designing interventions for dementia care, emphasizing mindfulness and social connectivity. She co-developed the Living the Life booklet, which supports self-administered psychosocial strategies to alleviate stress and maintain social connections in early-stage dementia patients.

The 2023 IASDR conference paper highlights her focus on interdisciplinary design research, spanning cognitive health, intervention design, and co-creation methodologies. The work aligns with broader trends in human-centered design for healthcare.
