Prudence Plummer, PhD, PT, is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, part of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She holds adjunct roles and has held faculty positions at Northeastern University and University of North Carolina. Her expertise lies in cognitive-motor interactions in neurological disorders, particularly stroke and multiple sclerosis (MS). She completed her PhD at La Trobe University (Australia) and postdoctoral training at University of Florida and UCLA.
Research interests focus on mobility disability mechanisms, dual-task interference during gait, and rehabilitation interventions targeting walking impairments.
