Dr. Priti Chopra is an Associate Professor of Education and Social Justice at the University of Greenwich's School of Education, within the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences. As the International PGCE Programme Leader, she holds a PhD, MSc, MA, BA (Hons), PGCertHE, QTLS, and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
Her research focuses on social justice, intercultural learning, technology-enhanced education, and anti-violence curricula. She has developed inclusive education frameworks for refugees, asylum seekers, young offenders, and Dalit communities in India. Her work includes leading curriculum development for the None in Three Centre’s gender-based violence prevention programs in Jamaica, Uganda, India, and the UK.
Chopra's publications emphasize participatory education, policy analysis, and empowerment in marginalized communities. Recent articles explore well-being in schools, teacher participation in decision-making, and decolonizing education policies. Her scholarly output consistently addresses intersectional inequalities through critical pedagogy.
Awards include Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She supervises MA and doctoral research and created the 'Global Childhoods, Young People and Social Justice' module.
