Priscilla Burnham Riosa is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Applied Disability Studies at Brock University. She holds a PhD in Human Development from the University of Guelph and an MSc in Developmental Psychology from Western University, with a postdoctoral fellowship at York University focusing on mental health and autism. Her research emphasizes improving well-being and quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families, with key interests in therapeutic rapport, mindfulness-based interventions, and community-engaged research.
