Predrag Simovic

Predrag Simovic is a Researcher at the Institute of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Kragujevac. He is actively engaged in scientific research related to aquatic ecosystems and biodiversity conservation.

His research interests focus on:

• Hydrobiology and water protection
• Ecology and biomonitoring
• Environmental protection
• Conservation of inland water biodiversity, particularly aquatic macroinvertebrates

Dr. Simovic completed his undergraduate studies in 2018 and earned his Master's degree in 2019. He works at the Center for Fisheries and Conservation of Inland Water Biodiversity, where he conducts research on the preservation of freshwater ecosystems.

His work contributes to the understanding and protection of aquatic biodiversity in inland waters, with a special focus on macroinvertebrate communities which serve as important indicators of water quality and ecosystem health.
